A young theater student struggles to bring her ambitious musical project to life, fusing Jewish and Muslim prayers. Amid personal and external obstacles, the story delves into faith, resilience, and the idea of judging people by their character, not their identity.
Malach is a UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television production
This production was designed to unite the Jewish, Muslim, Arab, Israeli and Palestinian communities during the challenging times of the Israeli-Hamas War (2023). For a three day production, people from those communities, along with ones from all walks of life, came together to tell this story in hopes of creating a slight sense of hope in the world.
