Lonny Presman is a writer, director, and actor based in Los Angeles, CA.

He has recently graduated from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television with an emphasis on Directing. 

​

As an undergraduate, he worked on numerous MFA projects, honing his skills both as a 1st AD and actor in films like Big Yikes by Ibrahim Rana and Love Spells by Michael Plewa.

​

Lonny has also directed and produced commercials, promotional videos, and photo shoots for businesses such as VineView Wine Company, MOGILITY Soccer, and Midpen Media Center.

​

His film Who Is Left (2023), which he directed, produced, and wrote, has been featured in film festivals around the world, including The Bay Area Film Festival, NewFilmmakers New York, Austin Film Festival, and the Riekes Film Festival.

At UCLA, Lonny completed his thesis film, Malach, set to be released in 2025. As a Jerusalem native, Lonny wanted to create a film that unites Jewish and Arab communities, showcasing these underrepresented groups both in front of and behind the camera.

Now, Lonny is set to join another film project as a producer set to come out in early 2026.
